I Need Computer Help

Hi! I have a Macbook Pro and a HP photosmart C4680 printer/copier/scanner. It prints and copies, but doesn't scan. The Mac Help site wasn't any good. I was wondering if you guys could help please

I would try, but I am not much of a computer person, but my dad is a genious when it comes to computers, although, I don't think that he has worked on macs yet.

Well, this probably won't help 'cuz it sounds so simple, but on the Macbooks at work I couldn't find an option to scan so I typed 'scan' into the search thingy in the top right corner and it finds the scanner and happily scans away. I think your problem may be more complicated than this, so sorry if this post is totally pointless.
