I got a quick question

i just started dante must die mode and right in the very begining of the 2nd mission, the enemy started turning purple/black and i thought it was nothing, just the blood splattering off of them and then i reached berial and he started to gain a purple/black cloak around his body. so my question is, why are the enemys turning purple/black and what does it do??

Basically This is the enemies "devil trigger". In DMD if you dont kill an enemy within a certain amount of time they go DT and become stronger and and more resistant to damage. hope this helps
