I’d like to see the next game return to the DMC1 format for the most part

Fixed camera angles really make many scenes shine that otherwise would not be as memorable if DMC1 had free camera

DMC1 has more simplified combat yes, but every move is very useful with substance that works well with the enemy design

Less choice- I know this will be controversial, but I personally think having access to every weapon simultaneously lessens creativity. DMC3 did this perfectly, but DMC1 also had weapon switching if you pressed R3.

I’d love to see another island map to go through too.

It would be interesting to see how the d-pad would be used in this format. For the sake of variety I wouldn’t be opposed to using it for something other than style switching. Maybe an amulet system like DMC2?

I don’t want every new DMC game to be DMC5 but with different weapons. All the games are great but what I love about most of the games is how distinct they feel. It would be cool to return to a DMC1 formula with a few changes.

I actually prefer to have fixed camera angles. I like some control over the camera, but there are certainly advantages without complete control. I did not love DMC5's camera system. There were good things about it, but I prefer DMC4's system or DMC3's.
