First console I ever paid for with my own money was the PS2 and I bought a bunch of games with it. One of them was DMC1. DMC2 was already out but 3 hadn't even been announced so around 2003 or 4.

I have been playing it 25 years aince the og on ps2, i was 14 the year it came out and had a part time job so i bought it myself and still have that copy and that ps2.

I have the same feeling... it feels like yesterday that I beat DMC3 for the first time.

I played DMC1 the weekend it came out at a friend's back in 2001. I was always on and off with the series and really didn't get fully invested until around the release of DMC4.
