How I think color coated/coded enemies mechanic should have been handled.

1)They can be hit by any and all weapons.
2)The weapon they correspond with does the most damage.
3)The weapon type they are meant to be hit by are the only ones that can interrupt them while they are attacking.
4)When you switch to the weapon they correspond with they become twice as aggressive and do twice as much damage and get new attacks(Like setting the floor on fire ALA the Hell Knight) and new attack patterns.(This will not have an animation.)
5)Every enemy would have an angel and demon counterpart.
6)They can't be thrown in the air by DT.
7)You can parry them with any weapon, and parrying is the only way other weapons can interrupt their attack animations.
8)All their attacks can hurt you regardless of what mode you are in.

I would appreciate some feedback on my ideas(be it negative or positive). And how would you have liked the color coated/coded enemies mechanic to have been handled?

4) When your in demon mode the floor attack doesn't hurt you.
7)You can already do that.
Would have liked it to be like option 2.

Here's a thought. Rather than the enemies only been vulnerable to a color they are instead intangible, like the ghost and blood rages, until you 'materialize' them with the color assigned to them. Once that happens they are supportable to all attacks, including projectile. A little like how the Blitz is only vulnerable when you drop it's shield, these enemies will be able to inflict damage and not receive any and I guess they should also be able to recover their invulnerability after some time.

Just a thought.
