Ok, I am a dmc fan from China,several days ago I just ask Hideaki Itsuno who is the strongest enemy before dmc5, and I never imagined he could answered my question.
Of course he answered the question with Japanese:
やはりムンドゥスは最強の敵です。アルゴサクスはムンドゥスに匹敵するぐらいの敵という設定です。

So Mundus is the strongest villain in dmc series,Argosax can fight with Mundus but can't win.
Annnnnd!Dmc5 would have Dante's strongest devil trigger! I don't know what is it,maybe Sparda,or Majin,or something new.
