guitar hero 3 or rockband?

I'd say get Rock Band if you've got plenty of friends available. Guitar Hero 3 if you don't mind playing alone or with an extra friend.

totally rock band, its more realistic you know, the game and the instruments
you can play 3 different instruments, you can play with your friends, download content (ps3/360) and you have really more diversity (idk if is correct) on genres
guitar hero is a game for people absurdly good at guitar skills, i mean, is really hard to beat the game, and its only the guitar and bass

But I dunno if Australia will ever get RockBand...
GH3 will have singing, base, drums and downloadable content again... Theres going to be a RockBand2 very soon as well so maybe wait for that.
