Gameinformer's Preview of DmC Vergil's Downfall

Wow, So kat in involved. Could anything from the latest "chronicles of vergil" be included in this??

I actually think this is a Limbo/nightmare version of Kat consider she's telling Vergil he's not half the man that Dante is and then turns into a monster.

Which means Dante's appearence is probably as a Limbo induced nightmare instead of being Dante himself...I'm getting eth vibe that a lot of this is in Vergil's own mind...inception much?

I think Limbo looks different depending on the person...that doesn't make sense itself, but atleast for Vergil it does. Showing him his nightmares, like Kat telling him those harsh things and what not.

Well, this has to be something else he's running around in, since Limbo collapsed into the human world and isn't really there anymore.

And if he has a nightmare Kat telling him Dante is more than him, does that mean Vergil didn't wipe his feeling of her? Surely he must have feelings for Kat if Vergil is upset by the idea Kat thinks of Dante more than him.

I didn't read much (BCUZ UV SPHOYLERZ) but it's around 5 hours long. Since it's free....oh man. Good times are coming.

Amazing news, thanks for that! :) You're the man!

So, I guess that without his amulet, Vergil is quite weak, which probably may explain the spoiler in that preview...

i think its important to note that everytime we get something similar from the classics such as DMC3 dante or Vergils classic haircut then insert it into this world there seems to be this feeling that they dont bellong at all lol i mean the classic dante costume is my favorite to use and actually looks better than theone in DMC3 but I still gotta admit it looks a little out of place P:

So Vergil has to launch a summoned sword and then teleport to it or pull whatever he shot it into to him? I guess that makes sense. It just didn't show that in the trailer. I'm also glad they are giving him some angel(confirmed) abilities and possibly some demon ones.

Great little snit bit to the DLC.

Very excited for Vergil's chapter, and clocking in an additional 3 - 5 hrs for a DLC seems well worth the money.

Agree. I could see one making the argument that DmC lacked content, but the free DLC of this entirely new mini-campaign and Bloody Palace makes it a 60$ well spent now IMO.

Also liked this preview, but Im hoping that this addon or DLC will come for us users of PC too :)

That preview sounds cool [bwahahah I don't care if it's not really Kat, I love that she pwned Vergil through that speech. Serves him right for leaving her for dead]

So Vergil was depowered after he fled from his fight with Dante?
That doesn't sound very logical and in VD his hair isn't slicked back and tidy as usual, it's a ruffled mess.
Did he run into some other demon who decided to really screw him over?
Anyhow the depowering business can be due to Dante stabbing him with Rebellion and pumping him with his red demon aura (cue sexual puns) and in turn resetting his powers back to square one.
But maybe he didn't just get reset, seeing how Dante is the stronger of the two by a wide margin perhaps getting stabbed awoke something in him.
Brace for Vergil losing to the illusions, going insane and turning into Nelo Angelo at the end of VD.
