Forgot to Introduce Myself! The Name's Migs!

I posted for some time here, I have forgotten to introduce myself! Now is the time for me to do it!

The name is Migs. I have been a Devil May Cry fan since day one.
My childhood friend introduced me to the series with DMC1 back in our high school days. Thanks to him, I wouldn't have my username with the word 'Stylish' in it. What made me become a fan is the character of Dante with his concept of wielding pre-modern weapons - a broadsword in particular - and modern weapons - particularly twin pistols - altogether. DMC2 got me disappointed. DMC3 was the bomb, especially its Special Edition. And I have mixed feelings towards DMC4 and the controversial reboot DmC Devil May Cry (not exactly on DmC Dante; I got used to his looks and didn't care for his potty mouth).

I joined DMC.org last year of February but I didn't even bother posting back then. I have begun making replies in the DmC Limbo City section.

My favorite Dante incarnations are as follows:
1. DMC1 Dante (He has a mix of both fun and seriousness and knows which emotion to use; plus, he is the archetype Dante AKA Hideki Kamiya's Dante)
2. Tie between DMC3 Dante and DmC Dante (Both have a character development which goes from "I don't give a damn" to "Now I got something worth fighting for"; also DmC Dante is like DMC1 Dante in terms of personality. I really don't care if he swears a lot because Dante in the DMC anime swears too, even in DMC Vol 1 Novel, not to mention that most people these days have unwashed potty mouths themselves too...)
3. DMC4 Dante (He's kinda campy but is lacking some depth. He got his DMC3 persona back. My favorite things he does is helping Nero - especially calming him down, killing the Dagons when first acquiring Pandora, saying some sexual innuendo poetry when first acquiring Lucifer, and being Shakespearean with Agnus.)
4. DMC Anime Dante (There were times he swears and he has yet to pay all his debts, especially on Lady's)
(I really dislike DMC2 Dante for having the worst personality ever, being mostly silent, hardly cracks a joke or even a one-liner, and flips a coin that has heads on both sides! Meanwhile, his cocky attitude is still there, albeit less campy. The only time he cracked up is with Arius.)
So all in all, even though I like both the classic and the new one, I'm more for the former because I grew up with him; the new one indeed has some potential (like being philosophical, but having him room for him to develop will slowly but surely make him be like the old one.

I just hope there are good-hearted DMC fans who actually enjoys both DMC and DmC in their own pros and cons, like LysseC and Loopy (who said that both classic and new Dantes are two sides of the same coin)... I'm neither with the 'old fans' nor with Ninja Theory, particularly NT's own Tameem Antonaides, as I can see both pro and con in them (like making honest and valid points yet the way they said those makes me want to disagree)! I want both DMC5 (please don't let this be a complete DMC4 rehash) and DmC2 (please let this be an improvement from DmC; NT has yet to learn more of the DMC series and may learn more on combat systems since their two previous games, Heavenly Sword and Enslaved: Odyssey to the West, may have strong storylines, but lacks serious gameplay to compliment it.)!

And that is all there is to me; there may be more of me. I hope I can enjoy DMC.org with all of you...

Welcome (back)!! (though you have been a member there for much longer than me lol):p
And it's always good to find someone who shares the passion for both DMC and DmC and is able to discuss their pros and cons with a level head!!
