For people who like new Dante.

Do you like new Dante because of his attitude or as a person?

When I say "as a person" I mean: Do you think he's a genuinely good person because of his actions, morals, views ect.
And when I say "attitude" I mean: Do you only like him because he's smug, showy, and crude?

And also people, try not to start a flame war just because someone(or a couple of someones) is expressing why they like new Dante. People should be allowed to express their opinion about the game whether it be negative or positive. If you feel like challenging it then at least do it in a civil manner.

Oh and would you be so kind as to give as to give a reason for your choices?
 
i like him as a person. mainly because he feels like an actual person this time around where as i feel in the previous games the character lost that tangibility. he wasn't a perfect person, but he was willing to change for the sake of the world.
 
I like him as a person...well, I like how he changes anyway. Starts off as this cocky guy with trust issues and not caring, then gradually changes into a guy who wants to know who he is and learns there's something out there for him to fight for.
 
As a person, of course! At least he is better than DMC4 Dante, and even more so than DMC2 Dante.
I like how he had a similar character development to DMC3 Dante: From not giving a f@ck to a selfless, helping, and hardened hero anyone can count on, thus finding a purpose. Loppy's saying that these two Dantes are two sides of the same coin still linger in my mind.
