This is for everyone who is on FFN and FP who want to show off how many hits they get for their stories every month. (If you have your traffic recorded on DA and other writing sites, you can post it here too)

And yes, if you want more hits, you can come to this thread and post a link to your story to up your count. You don't need to ask anyone to read it - the fact that you post a link implies as much. Don't beg!

Keep in mind that your hits vs visitors are not always 100% accurate. Sometimes readers have to refresh the page and that counts as a hit. Other times it's the same readers who come back again and again to reread your story, which is why your hits won't be equal to your visitors.

Anyway, the nitty-gritty info on that aside, feel free to come post your monthly hits for your stories (you can post as many of your stories as you like). If you have a multiple chapter story, post the hits you got on the last chapter updated to be fair on the others.

^Once every few months is still good. It's when the updates stretch to once in a blue moon that the numbers really go low *guilty face* Just remember the count for the first chapter is always (or mostly) higher than the subsequent chapters. Not everyone likes the cuppa tea we have to offer which is why the hits go down after chapter one (and it's also why our oneshots' hits put our multi-chapter fics to shame) and the number you get in the final chapter is more accurate about how many readers you actually have for a specific story.
But HEY! Just remember, small fandoms garner small counts. I think we're the top ranking writers in TFG fandom. Plus you're going to get hits until your head is spinning when you start posting Rebellion up in the DMC fandom *hint hint*

^ True. Though my updates have definitely moved to the once in a blue moon section. >_< I think my last update of FI was over a year ago, for instance. :S *nodnod* That's true, too. And kinda depressing when you stop and think that you might only have a couple readers for a story.... If we are, then...1) I just got a great ego boost *assumes Superman-esk pose before being smacked down by her muses* and 2) wow, the fandom is TINY. >_<

Ha ha ha! Well considering that the fandom has had a little growth spurt since VD made it to the TV screen, it's not as tiny and invisible as it used to be. ^_^ AFF stats - YESH!

Well in that case, what I could do in future is become more active on the FFN forum and eventually when I have made some good connections with the writers there, I can suggest your DMC fics to be added to the read and review lounge. I can't do that at the moment since I'm still very much noob and unknown on the forum, so I doubt anyone would really pay attention to someone who isn't an active/contributing member. But I will do it so your hits (and reviews) go up before the end of the year.
