According to the updated star wars timeline, but in reality Boba Fett was created first and Jango was just an attempt to clone his popularity in episode 2. Thats probably why some people think more of Boba because in their heads he will always be the original. He wasn't as cool I agree.

If DMC was to resurrect lady's mum, giving her bigger more awesome guns most people would probably still like Lady more.

so jango in the story line is the originator plus in star wars bounty hunter you see jango seal the deal with darth tyranus

Man, I haven't read the Star Wars EU books, so Fett to me is just the guy in the gaudy armour that gets to be the (second most) humourous Sarlacc snack. I hear he's big in Japan.

Boba Fett. He had a bull**** "death". But he came back. Not many people can get out of a sarlacc's stomach, you know.

Plus, he's far scarier and much more efficient at his job than Jango was.

I've read all the comics, books, what-have-you. Boba is scarier and more skilled. A lethal combination.

So what if he didn't have as many gadgets? It gave him time to learn how to use the one's he had to deadly efficiency.

boba fett is actually a wimp and is half the epicness jango is

boba fett has scrathches on his armour from the fights meaning he gets hurt alot

but jango's armour is fresh meaning he never gets hurt

oh AND jango took down the leader of the bando gora single handed....and her army...of slaves....kamari vosa didn't stand a chance

what has boba done oh yeah...captured a guy who owes jabba money

jango works for count dooku

but boba works for a giant slug

It's not what they've done that makes them. It's what they can do.

Besides, is one actually better than the other? NO.

Boba's armor is Jango's original. It's going to be scratched quite a bit after twenty to thirty years of continuous usage.

but jango is the real deal....a clone can't be 100%of his host

but boba don't have any training either

cuz jango wanted him to be a normal child

boba never got to the cloning stage of learning the mercenary ways

But he managed to become the most feared bounty hunter in a far smaller amount of time than Jango did.

Of course, again, it doesn't really matter. They're both pretty much equal. And here's something Jango didn't do. Did Jango get out of a Sarlacc's stomach? Did Jango take a person who was impersonating him, leave him paralyzed with the medicine for it just out of his reach while the space station he's on explodes?
