As an interactive medium, video games generally offer a lot for players to explore and discover. However, there are things in games that those who just go through the motions never end up finding. What are your favorites? Be sure to use spoiler tags.

The Inverted Castle (the other half of the game, accessed by saving Richter)

Spiked Club and Shining Sword (secret weapons found in NG and NG+, respectively)
- Shadow of the Colossus
Secret Garden (found by climbing to the top of the Shrine of Worship, where you begin the game)
- Dead Rising
Real Mega Buster (kill 53,594 zombies, beat the game, and save)
- Halo 2
Scarab Gun (found in a secret area in the Metropolis level)
