DMC1 would be my actual favourite as it's more epic, better done and ultimately more enjoyable than all other DMCs.

As I have only played one of the two options, I have to go for DMC3 although surprises in that game were somewhat lacking. I mean, the manual gave away that Arkham had his own agenda and he was driven to become a demon. Talk about massive spoilers.

DMC1's story seemed unmatched when it was first out, but then again DMC3's story was too good. DMC4's story isnt all that bad.......but I guess the first one should win this
