I say that in the sense that we should take a break from the series as a whole.

This is why new IPs are never given a chance. People are just too stubborn to move on.

Well Brands sell as people are more likely to remember and focus on a brand than something unknown so its a self-perpetuating problem.

Harry Potter is a huge franchise so of course they'll consider spinoffs.

I'm not really the biggest HP fan but, I was entertained by them enough to actually bother reading all the books. Being a big bookworm and all also contributes to that. I didn't watch all the movies though and I don't think I will. I didn't even know this thing actually existed. I remember picking up this Tales of Beedle The Bard spinoff one day and reading that though. How many spinoff books are there?

Side Note: I love HP. My personal "Gary Stu" ripoff story is fusing that with DMC. I just thought we needed something new.

Also, the protagonist gets a sugar glider instead of an owl, so it wins the internet anyway.
