Eva is dead ?!

in the Captivate Trailer we heard the hunter demon say this : " you're dead just like your whore mother "

and now in the boss battle with poison we heard something similar about Eva being dead , i don't remember the exact line but poison said something like " you will die like your mother " and Dante answered : "Oh Really ?! somehow i doubt that "

just watch poison fight in Game Trailers and you will hear the lines during the battle

so what do you think ?! is she really dead ?!

Guess so. In the original DMC she was killed protecting Dante and Vergil. Plus is Eva was still alive, Dante wouldn't be an orphan. Of course this is an Alternate DmC so she could possibly be alive an everyone thinks she's dead.

At the time of any of the previous games, she's always been dead. Her death is Dante's and Vergil's catalyst. Why would it be different?

More than likely he's referring to the fact that he won't be so easy to kill.

Not a big surprise, considering both she and Sparda were dead when the series started.
