Easter eggs so far.

Hello guys,
I've just registered on this forum. I've been a longtime fan of the series and have been looking over the discussions here. I thought I'd finally come out and say something .

So far the trailers have shown some pretty sweet cinematic visuals. But, there were subtle nods here and there that i guess we can count as easter eggs. I'll just post ones which i saw so far :-

1.Poster behind Vergil :-

This scene appears very briefly but if you catch a glimpse of a poster with two guys, one with black hair and other white, attached at the head. Also below they show the guys fighting with a sword very similar to Dante's Rebellion. That, and the usual tagline "Face your demons". This could be foreshadowing of sorts where some bleach s*** happens.

2.Painting above Dante and Vergil :-

If you look at it the painting is split into red and blue with angels rising in the blue and demons in the red. Notice also that Vergil is standing in the red and Dante in the blue. Now this strikes out as odd. But, dig in deeper and let's look at the situation. Currently, Dante is shown as a criminal with his status being the public enemy no. 1. He's also rebellious and has a Devil may care ( lol i had to bring that here) attitude. In contrast, Vergil is shown as the leader of an organization and the saviour. The typical 'good guy'. Hence, the painting. Notice also their position. Why then, isn't Vergil standing in the right? Wouldn't it compliment the scene more? This probably says that things are not all they seem to be. Dante despite his attitude still remains clean at heart. Vergil, on the other hand, despite putting up a heroic figure still 'masks' ( is that another easter egg ) his true intentions. The painting could also be foreshadowing an all out war between Angels & Demons. Now that'd be rad

3.Poster behind Dante :-
I just only saw this. Sadly the power cut off before i could take a screenshot and i couldn't find the scene anywhere in any videos. I had been searching for an hour but no success. If anyone can help me find it i'd be most grateful. This is in the park when Dante and Vergil are talking. There is a pic behind Dante that shows a family. A man , a woman , and two kids, each holding one of their parents hands. Doesn't look much like an easter egg? Well, The man has devil's horns on him and the woman has a halo over her. No brainer that it tells about Dante and Vergil's family. But, despite that each kid is only holding one of their parents hand and not even each other. That struck out to me as odd.

That's what i've seen so far guys. If this has already been posted. My apologies, i'll delete it right away. I hope you find this interested and am glad to be on this forum. Cheers!

i wouldnt call them Easter eggs more like blatant messages thrown in your face not to sound rude and the last pick the one your talking about made me smh a little it could have been a little more clever with showing things like that

Did you also notice that, with the third picture mentioned, the kids both have a white spot where the heart would be? Almost like small holes. Any ideas of what that could mean?

Well that's cool. I don't find it rude at all. Maybe foreshadowing would be a better word.

This has been posted a few months back
I see. I guess I should have made more effort into searching for it. I typed Easter eggs but only ended up with one other such topic. But, then again As with meg5493 i don't think people consider this as easter egg.

interesting very interesting :O

but i see no chocolate so much for easter eggs :troll:
I'm sorry. I didn't quite catch that.

Sweet, seems like there is going to be some great symbolism in the game.
I know right? I already like how they are putting such tiny details in already. It's good strategy, it always makes you wanna watch some videos again or play the game again. Well, for me atleast. And we've already had 3-4 such instances. Wonder, if there will be more in the actual game.

I wonder if Kat did all that. She is a graffiti artist :P

That could work :P. This game certainly does rely heavily on street-art for many of its things.

I didn't see that. Could you tell me where it was so that i can post it for all to see? I think you might be onto something.

Triple thumbs up for dat screen name :troll:
DAT USERNAME Lol

Thank you guys . I was actually trying for a more creative name.... As you can see, i didn't go far :D

I remember seeing it in the opening sequence for the demo. The white spots were pretty small, so I'm not sure if they'll show up in a screenshot. I'll try to get one, though. I found a video on youtube that might have it.

Edit: The spots are faint, but I hope you can still see them.

Edit again: My brother had the thought that maybe they're supposed to represent their souls. He remembers seeing something like that in movies, where the soul is shown as a white light in a person's chest.
