Don't Let the Fall of America be Your Fall
This something to discuss for a bit.
This is on my thoughts on the transitions of new Dante's look and personality. Let's begin
The Hair
His hair was one of the biggest controversy for the games first coming out, but I think it was more the change of the entire game itself, rather the hair. Anyway, I thought the hair design was a bit odd and not all that special looking. It seemed like it was brushed down and all that.
His hair changed again, and this time it was kept kind of like the 2010 version but this time, the bangs were shorter, thesides of his head were faded and the back of his hair ended in a small mohawk like thing going on. I thought this hairstyle was more cooler and different from what I've seen of hairstyles.
The Clothes
When I first saw his clothes, I thought they looked awful and just wierd looking. The jacket looked odd as if he was wearing a shale on his coat. After awhile I did start to get use to the coat though.
The clothes looked better in my opinion now. The hooded parka was an awesome touch and the boots fit the DMC vibe of DMC3 Dante wearing boots. However, I did like the necklace looked cooler in the 2010 version, and his pants...well I think we can all see what I mean.
The weapons
The weapons that were shown were his guns and that transforming weapon. Now from what I've seen, it kind of looks like the rebellion design but it did transform into a long staff, an axe, and a grappling hook as well. I wasn't to fond of the guns or the weapon he was using since I didn't see a sword in there at all, but I did like his gun moves in the beginning of the trailer.
I do like the newer guns and the addition of a rebooted Rebellion sword to give it that ol' DMC flare. I also like the concept of the rebellion and how it transforms into other weapons, but still not overly show off in the look of it, Y'know staying simplistic and not overly showoffed like DMC4's rebellion.
The Personality
In 2010, Dante seemed like a troubled guy who was someone who also looked like couldn't get a long with people right away. He seemed like the type that would start random fights with people and just go insane on them. He'd also look like the type who'd have an attitude with just society in general and get's angry easily.
In 2012, Dante has gotten a cocky, and douchebag attitude where he's quick to mouth off at a demon and insult them with cussing and belittling. He also shows that he's a bit of a hothead as seen in the club mission were he seems angry at Lilith possibly for kidnapping Kat. He was now that cocky hotheaded guy who loves to be a dick to people, but will get mad if you mess with him.
That's all from me.^_^
