I know I may be kinda late but I just saw the movie, and it was more than what I could have ever hoped for! The constant suspense kept me interested and the scene where she was draged to hell was satisfyingly graphic!
The ending is what got me, though. I was sure, beyond a shadow of a dought she was gonna live... But she was, shall I say, over killed? I guess in a way I got so absorbed into the movie I felt the characters feeling of pain, dread, and disbelief when she saw the cursed object. The scene of her being dragged to hell didn't help either.
For me surprise endings are kind of Love-hate situation. I like it because I didn't see it coming, but I hate them because I have this undying need to explain to myself why did it end that way.
When I saw how it got her it just made the question burn more.
I posted this thread not for answer, but a discussion to get my thoughts out and hopefully make sense of it all. >.>
