I'm just some guy who really like Devil May Cry
hey, i thought that itd be fun if a bunch of us made our own "ideal" levels for the DmC sequels. they can be boss fights, iconic moments etc. just have fun.
heres my attempt at level 1 of DmC2:
midnight, the full moon hangs ominously in the sky. the night is filled with the roars of a motor cycle as it races through the country side. the driver wears a helmet, his coat trailing behind him, his face is obscured by a black helmet.
s the scene cuts to a woman in a slghtly run down building. she is in her twenties, blonde hair disheveled and make up running. she weeps at a desk infront of a man. we only see him from the back as she speaks between sobs.
woman:"please. my brother, hes been missing for a two days now"....."the briar house outside the city"..."it might be a demon..im his only family!" man gets up, and walks past her. putting a comforting hand on her shoulder as he passes. "dont worry" he says "ill get him home safe"
we return back to the motor cyclist. behind the tinted visor we see two eyes blazing red like coals. as he speeds up. an old house in the distance.
cut to the house, its fairly large. about 2-3 stories high. more of a mansion, the estate is incredibley large but in poor condition. the windows are borded up and shattered. bushes are overgrown. the walls of the house are grey with mold and decay. the driver pulls up to the door taking off his helmet to reveal his white hair with black streaks in it. he looks at the house confused before exclaiming
"you know! on the way here i got to thinking" he begins to pace back and forth out side the main stair way to the front door. "why would a kid come all the way out here just to play in some run down house, and what kind of sister would let him do that when the world is currently being attacked by demons?" the floor starts to rumble angrily, to door shaking violently "unless there was no kid and this is probably the worst trap set since the invention of the pit fall!"
the world collapses. earth launched into the sky, pertruding out of the ground like daggers. dante turns around flipping off the house. "i dont have time for your crap, get lost and ill look the other way this time". we hear a kids scream for help. dante freezes in his tracks, turns around his face like murder. he runs and kicks the door down. inside the mansion is much bigger, dante spots the kid at the far side, in a cage. the kid is clutching his left arm and shouts for dantes help. before a cage falls from the ceiling and the ground swallows the child.
commence violence. demons appear and dante fights his way through the house. odd pieces such as pipes etc try to hurt him via fire, poison gas etc. at some point a sofa tries but he just cuts it in two and laughs. the paintings all depict dante dying, or eva or sparda and some vergil. fueling dantes anger. he solves a few puzzles and reaches the basement where the kid is stuck behind a wall. a puzzle in the way (exact same one from before) Dante takes a running leap, and smashes though the wall. from the kids pov we see dante flying through the wall all kung fu hero pose like. but before dante can grab him. the house swallows him again and a small house (sized like the original house before limbo) appears. it has the kid inside him and says "i have you now son of sparda" to which dante replies "a house INSIDE a house? sure because **** you logic".
the two fight and dante says "you cant beat me! because i float like a butterfly and stingERRRRR!!" and launches himslelf in a stinger attack. going through the house and grabbing the kid. limbo fades out and we see the house is now in cinders dantes bike lying just outside the burned area. Dante puts down the kid who asks "are you Dante?" "yeah i am" "i thought you had black hair" Dante stairs at him and replies "what does it matter" he gives the kid his helmet. and the two ride off to the city.
new shot and we see the woman from before. hair tied back looking down from ontop a nearby cloud.
"hmm so the son of sparda is as strong as they say. this is going to be very fun". behind her we see two shadowed figures one with a sword clutched in his hand.
