DmC source code analysis

SpawnShooter

This partys getting crazy
Apparently there's some interesting things like badly recycled Enslaved code, also information about editing combat options (like possible timings etc)

Part 1:

Part 2:

First video is just the guy looking through some editable files... second video is him tweaking some stuff (eg. 2 fragments for a health cross, massive orb drops from enemies, pause debug, killall debug, etc).
First video is kind of interesting, you see some code that kind of backs up what the concept art suggested (Like, how they were thinking of having both Angel and Demon Triggers).

WOW!!! Who cares this deeply about the game to go digging through the code!!!!

Ya never know, maybe this guy is going through codes and he might be the next game developer we all love. Or he might be the cause of all suffering through PC viruses.

The interesting part for me with looking at game codes is that you can sometimes find part in it that indicate scrapped ideas or bits that nearly made it into the game. ^_^

Isn't Square Enix notorious for this? And some of the scrapped ideas were pretty awesome, shame it never made it into the game; for all developers that is, not SE alone.

It's not like it's some core code or anything, just some tweakable files... I actually love what I saw. There's so much to play around with.
Well I suppose your right, it can be cool if your into that stuff. I wouldn't touch it with a ten foot pole, I hate code and it scares the living daylights out of me lol.
