DMC son of sparda advice?

Im trying to complete son of sparda mode in DMC4 everything is doing fine but in the tutorial mode i died 3 times fighting dante thats bad, berial only hit me 4 times but i dont know what im going to do when i fight dante again (u know the second time to fight with him) its very hard any advice?

Firstly you can try the cheap trick which as far as I am aware still works. Basicly shoot him like a madman so that he will shoot back the bullets like he does and he is less likley to dodge the Snatch or the Buster. You can Buster him right away but it is too likley that will get you nowhere so when you grab him just bang out a combo on him and just before you are about to throw the last strike you can attempt a Buster.

I also heard that during the Buster swordfight if you tap the melee button there is a higher chance Nero will do damage to him but I still don't know if this is just a rumor or not.

A lot of it is just knowing his ai like you back of your hand and tryng to be 2 steps ahead of it whenever you can. If you throw a snatch at him he will likley dodge and throw a stinger, if you are ready for that stinger you can dodge that and if your quick enough he can be grabbed. But obviously as the difficulties go up so does his brain.

I swear I'm the only one who thought he was easy...

I can't really give you a strategy. I just hacked and snatched and hoped for the best. The little things flying around with him can be used as grim grips, though.

Yeah my only strategy with Sanctus is to stand there and wait for the "you will fail!" move which can be jumped over and let the bubble hacking begin. He is a sitting duck while he is using that move.

I have a trick for the dice game. To get the number you want, watch the pattern of it changing numbers. When you see the number that comes up BEFORE the number you want, hit the die. It'll give you the number you want.

can i hit it with any weapon or it has to be the buster

Any weapon. It doesn't matter. Red Queen has the highest chance of it landing on the number you want, and Blue Rose has the least. The Devil Bringer is somewhere in the middle.
