DmC PGW 2012 Presentation Stand

Nice find. In that illustration banner on the wall -- behind Vergil is a child. People have said that child might be Nero.

Anyway, I was told that DmC was unpopular and that no one was lining up to play the demo. It's good to see that that's not the case (at least, not in that country).

From what I've heard, that wasn't the case in America, either. I think the new-comers are going to help a lot in raising sales.

There is definitely an interest here. The lines at Comic Con were ridiculous for this game. Longer than Lost Planet 3 and Resident Evil 6. Surprisingly, I got to play WiiU games faster than the entire time I waited in line for DmC.

Whoa. Well, that's definitely good to hear. I didn't know the lines would be that long. I just hope new-comers will help raise sales to an insane amount -- this game needs to be recognized. Not only for its gameplay, but for the message it's trying to send. We need a lot more games like that out there. Whether it be action-adventure, or through some other genre.

That's great to hear. They need the demo out soon for those that were unable to try it at the conventions. That will help even more with sales, I'm sure.

The new-comers combined with the flexible fans will likely bring in pretty good money for them. Especially with how good everything looks, so far. At least the new fans aren't hampered by memories of the original series.

Holy **** this game is popular? From everything I read no one likes it and it will be lucky to break 100k units (hence me posting the thread about DmC sales as i was worried about it and wanted opinion) if there is an interest then awesome news!

I think due to the daily arguments, this game has become more known to new-comers for sure.
Possibly they were attracted by the rants but thought this game looks good.

you should see my photo of the line in TGS. It's huge.
apparently some of the people were aghast of the waiting time of MGR and RE6 and lined up but they seemed quite entertained.

I think there were some new comers, but it seemed like mainly people who knew about the franchise but weren't so crazy about it. People kept walking up to the Capcom staff guy at the booth asking "So this is the new Devil May Cry?" and were wondering who that guy was. They even gave us free posters (I got one after the demo. And two from the signing with Alex Jones and Dom Matthews)

While typing this, I just remembered I took pictures at Comic Con, LOL.
It was really crowded and a stupid idea to only bring my 55mm lens so sorry for the out of focus and blurry shots.

(Line went around behind the booth. It was utter chaos)

(So I thought, "What would Dante do?" So I managed to cut my way in the opposite end into the queue. Don't believe me?See the guy with the black and green cap in both pictures? Hes in the same spot in line) :troll:

(Two signed posters and one not signed. I might give one away on these forums, who knows lol)

I'll take one of the DmC posters. lol. It wouldn't even need to be signed.

That is such a generic pose but my god Dante looks like such a badass in that picture (I personally like it more then the DMC 3 pose and I love that one)
