Welcome every member of DMC.org to your very own fan fic adventure! Please, please hold the applause until you've read this.
Here at DMC.org we have a lot of talented writers and this is a open jump in, jump out Fan Fiction that any member can participate in. The rules are simple:

1. Every and any character from DMC1-4, Anime, DmC, and any other DMC related can be included in this.

2. "But how can Classic Dante meet New Dante when their from different video games?!" Simple! The two worlds have combined! "Why have they?" You ask. Well when you start writing we'll find out!

3. General Rules: Classic Dante has all his powers, weapons and etc from DMC1-4, and the anime. Same goes for everyone else. So Nero has Yamato, and Vergil is still bad @ss. Maybe you can write how Vergil gets his sword back or I can. Or anyone can! New Dante and New Vergil have all their skills and etc from their end points. Every character is MAXED out basically.

4. "Can I add my Original character?" Well of course! How else are you and Dante/Trish supposed to fall in love and make demon babies? Now I know Mary Sues, and Gary Sues will appear, those all powerful, perfect characters who are no different from the Judeo-Christian, Islam god.
I will allow them on one condition!
You as a writer must put some kind of reasonable weakness, problem, and/or issue on them. That way other writers can beat you and vice versa. If your character goes Judeo-Christian, Islam god on everyone and anything than I, the Rejected Son of Sparda shall come after you! You've been warned, so play fair everyone!
(I'm allowing these kinda characters because Classic/New Dante, Vergil, Nero, and Sparda are pretty much Gary Sues soooo "God VS God!")
Your OC can have any back story you wish. I'm trusting everyone to play fair. :bored: Giant robots, normal sized robots, demons, gods and goddess, and whatever are all allowed. Anything goes expect outside characters, so no Mario, Sonic, Gundam or Power Rangers. Its got to be OC or DMC related. Now if your OC is inspired by Power Rangers lets say, than your free of all sin. :angel:

Keep this PG-13-ish. Whatever DMC/DmC contained is allowed, anything depicting graphic porno, insect, or any of those nasty things will be struck down by the Power of SRS and the Mods.

5. "How will we keep everyone from posting at once?" Simple three people will write in order. For example
1. SRS
2. Veebs
3. Steve
So I'll write first, after my post is posted, Veebs will continue from where I left off. When she is totally done than Almighty Steve with his goatee will post his section. When we're all done, the next writers in line will write. When the all the rotations are done we'll rinse and repeat.
After I write, Veebs will have to wait 20 minutes before she posts her part. That way in that time gap readers can comment, like, request to join so I can add them to the rotation, ask to leave the tale and etc.
After the story has run for a considerable amount of time, it will be written into a finale. And if popular enough, we'll create part 2! :woot:
First person to post and saying something like "I want to join" will go after me and etc. First come first serve.

At this time please post any ideas, comments, suggestions, complaints, concerns, and Death Notes.

Oh God finally! Do you have any idea how many demons I've been fighting for countless hours since I've made this post? :bored: A lot. :banghead: Here is a sword, a gun, and a subscription to Dante monthly. Your in, now swing for some demons damn it! SWING!

 

[Rebel Dynasty]

(Okay, I'mma start, now)

The evening had been quiet. Too quiet, Dante thought, as he took, long, quick strides down the cobblestone street, his gaze sweeping passed the shops on either side. Not a single person was in sight; only the ever-deepening shadows that settled over the sleepy storefronts like a cold, menacing blanket.

The only sound was the whisper of his leather coat against the backs of his legs, the dull clicking of his boots with each step, the devil hunter stroking the silver pistol that sat on his right hip. Though he could see no one, he knew something was there--lying in wait, watching him from whatever grimy hole it was too afraid to climb out of.

Wait, so, just like it sounds people start writing and taking off from where the last person left off? So, can we just start, like, dibs on the next response? Doesn't look like I'm invited but is this up for grabs?

The conditions were foggy, and the air was cool as a breeze blew past Dante. He had not known the streets to be this clouded, it seemed a little too unusual to him and he was sure it was something adding to the unnerving feeling he already had surrounding him at that current moment in time.

His sword, Rebellion, resting upon his back almost hugging his dark red trench coat lovingly through all of those years of being affectionately attached to Dante, and Dante the same way towards Rebellion. He understood that within his power and skill he would probably be at decent odds of fending off whatever demonic entity that was lurking about. However he did not feel as confident as he normally did, and an air of his cockiness was almost not present for some unbeknown reason to him. It was as if the fog was clouding his mind as well as the narrow roads that laid before him.

Feel free to write what you like. My choice is to write a few small paragraphs. The next person would be able to read my post quicker and jump in right after. Other than sifting through -wall of text- But that's just my flavor.

You ever co-write a story with someone before? It gets a little messy if one writer posts a ton of stuff and doesn't leave room for others to post.

Story time!


"So are you gonna show yourself or not? I got some left over pizza at the shop with my name on it, and your keeping me from it."
The legendary demon hunter called out into the darkness. The disturbing silence annoyed the prolific warrior. However that silence would not last long, as the sounds of footsteps could be heard in the distance.
"My, oh my. The human blood in you certainly makes you impatient brother."
Turning toward the sound of the voice, Dante is met with a skinny figure clad in black and silver. Its glowing red eyes piercing his like a dagger. Stepping out of the foggy shadows, the figure is in the shape of a young man. By the looks of him, early twenties Dante guessed. Skinny and about Dante's height, the cloaked figure pulls down his hood, revealing a gentle face with short blonde hair, his red pupil eyes scanning Dante up and down.
"I'm a little nervous, its not everyday you get to meet a celebrity such as yourself." Says the blonde demon.
In the blink of a eye, Dante whips Ebony out and points the recently polished gun at a Labrador sized Nobody, sniffing his shoes.
"Don't shoot!" Says the demon. "That Nobody is my loyal pet, his name is Inferno. And my name is Raphael, I'm your brother! Well your adapted brother."

Well, I'm no Shakespeare, Dumas, or Paz but I got a project that I need a break from so let's see.


If Dante was shocked or even surprised to hear this he didn't let on, rather he slowly pointed his gun back at the dark figure in front of him in an almost nonchalant mannerism. Dante thought up of a few ways to kill them both in a few swift motions but it specially hard to focus in this fog. It was like been drunk or medicated. He knew he could take them out if he stayed alert and he knew that they knew.

For a few seconds the only sound were the sounds of the nobody that echoed through the streets and then Raphael tilted his head in realization.

"You don't believe me." Dante just smiled as though the other man had finally got the joke.

"You know, I am very good at knowing when someone is lying to me, it's what makes me a great poker player, but too bad with this fog I just can't trust my insight to be right so even if you are telling the truth you've just gone and shot yourself in the foot on this one."

The man put his hands behind his back and look around at the fog and smiled innocently.

"This wasn't my doing. It was like this when I got here," Raphael knew that in his condition if Dante so much as heard a sneeze from the distance he'd kill both of them and then the whoever sneezed so he hoped that little jab of obvious bad humor might lighten the mood but Dante just raised his eyebrow cynically. "Besides, I heard you were an awful player."

"And that's the trick. That way when you win big everyone chucks it up to good luck and--" Dante stopped himself. Damn. Dante thought to himself that he might let too much slip or lose focus and get himself killed if he stayed here too much longer and that that might be this mans plan to begin with. "And now I've gone and told you my secret, so, adopted or not I'm going to have to kill you now."

Alright folks, first let me say THANK YOU for taking time out of your lives to contribute to this chaos I've wrought to the forums! I'm humbled, overjoyed and hungry. (In that order) :blush:

With that said let the rotation begin! We have in order:

That will be rotation number #1. These three people will be the first batch and since all of them have written, batch two begins! Batch two so far consists of
1. @berto
2. N/A
3. N/A

So if @Shadow writes next, she'll be number two. If anyone else contributes before her, they'll be number two and so on. After this batch ends, batch #1 will write followed by batch #2. If more folks jump in, more batches will be made.

Berto did you just take my OC, Raphael and write something with him?! :jawdrop: Good job! :laugh: That's the idea! His contribution wasn't crazy, it was in line with what I have in mind with my OC. He's done well! Remember folks don't be afraid to add your OC! Bonus points if the OC is based on your username and personally on here!

I could be an up-and-coming demon hunter in a game called DMCX -- but DMC4 Dante killed me and I came back from hell -- this is like my "gritty Persona 4 reboot" idea; only this time, I'm taking a direct jab at Dante.

"Nice ass-chaps, brokeback! Where's your riding crop??" *gets fatally sliced by Dante*

This is based off of the S&M insult against Ryu Hayabusa in the trailer for NGZ:

"Nice gimp suit, Hayabusa! Where's your ball gag?" *gets fatally sliced by Hayabusa*

"I should've killed you 15 demons back, cowboy."

"Just let me loose and kill something!"

I love the dialogue from Yaiba. He's beyond awesome.

Raphael seemed to take the threat in good stride, not paying too much heed to the big black gun that was still aimed straight at him, and Dante briefly considered shooting the devil in the foot for failing to be thoroughly cowed. The only thing that kept him from doing so was that fact that this fog was screwing with his head enough that he thought he might miss...and, despite what Lady might have said about his lack of damage control, Dante didn't like to miss.

"You won't shoot me," the blond said, sounding far too reasonable to Dante's ears.

Dante clicked his tongue in annoyance. "Tch, ya cocky sunova--" He cut himself off with a belligerent toss of his head, lowering Ebony as if he wasn't inclined to use it at all. "Fine. Ya don't wanna play it straight with me? That's cool; really cool. But the least you could do is tell me what you and your..." Dante paused, the thought of a pet nobody still seeming a bit ridiculous to him...then again, he owned a three-headed dog/weapon, so it wasn't like he was one to talk, "puppy doin' here if you're not responsible for all this. Don't want me to take this too personally, do ya?"

Yeah, I like writing Dante as a prig and I always end up writing him that way, sorry. *shrugs*

"It's quite simple really..." Raphael paused as he kneeled down and encouraged Inferno to come towards him. Giddy, the Nobody hobbles over to its master. "It would seem our world, or rather our reality is..." He paused, Dante's blank expression gave him enough of a sign to rephrase his words. "Our world is combining with other worlds. And I need your help to fix everything." Raphael signed deeply, he hoped he'd made his point clear.

"Sounds kinda fun!" Dante's words more than confused Raphael, it intrigued him. "Follow me back to my place, there you can tell me all about how I can kick DeadPool's butt all over again!" With a smile on his face, the Demon Hunter of Legend turns back towards the darkened streets.

"Who?" Asks Raphael as he follows Dante. Whistling for Inferno to follow him.

"Nobody kid. Just follow me."
