Perhaps the PC version will be a port version from the consoles version that will be released later than the PS3/Xbox 360 releases. Glad to see that Capcom still remembers there are PC users that want to play DmC.

i believe that will probably be the most likely outcome, and i am also glad that capcom is branching out to the pc gamers

as both an xbox and pc gamer I can guarantee that the PC version (like many games) will just be a port of the Xbox 360/ps3 version and it will be only available on STEAM
How do i know this
Because Capcom PC stuff is only on Steam

I don't think enslaved ever made it to pc and i know that Heavenly sword was ps3 exclusive so unless capcom convinces ninja theory it is highly unlikely

Well i have only DMC3 on my ps2 (which is the only playstation i have) but i first saw it on PC my only question is will we be allowed to hook up a xbox360/ps3 controller to pc to play it

Why?, DMC3 was on PC, DMC4 was on PC.....
I would love to see that happening because I don't own a PS3 or Xbox360.

Im also user of PC, and I have these 2 ports of DMC for PC. Also I have PS2 (version is designed only for NTSC games, so I have DMC1&2 as NTSC, same for other games, I have whole collection of PS2 games)
I prefer playing games on a console, unless they are MMO's or shooters. But hack'n slash games like Devil May Cry is best played on a console, imo. BUT that doesn't mean there shouldn't be a PC port for those who prefer that and luckily it seems like the new Devil May Cry will be on PC as well.

I'm interested in DmC for PC and im gonna buy the game but first i have to make sure that it fails.
Why do you want it to fail? :O
More importantly, if you want it to fail, why do you want to buy it? That doesn't make sense.

Because i don't like where they're going with this you know turning DMC into something it's not. They should have at least kept Dante you never make a game without it's main character but they didn't even do that.
Why do i want to buy it? well i don't count DmC as Devil May Cry but it's still a H&S and i like those type of games and there aren't many of them for PC.

But if, like you said, they fail at the game, there will be one less H&S on the PC.
The only reason why they wouldn't port it to PC is because of theft. But since capcom has many games on the PC i dont see why it shouldn't be ported over.
