So a physical version is happening.
In Europe. Check the official site. UK one says physical edition August 28, 2026 while there is nothing in that same spot in the US page. Apparently, it was taken down shortly after the page went up. There are also no retailers in the US with listings for the games. Maybe after the weekend they'll add it but, as of now, there is no physical edition for the Americas.

im hoping for a bigger reveal at e3 or tgs
I suppose if there is to be anything it'd be at TGS. I did forget about that.

We'll see. A similar case happened for Rushing Beat X where Europe/UK and Japan only had listings for a physical release on PS5 and Switch 2. Then nearly a month later, pre-order listings were available for the USA across nearly all major retailers.

Well, if it comes down to it I might have to import the Asian version, depending on what languages that version supports. The Asian version of 4's SE did not support Spanish, LatAm or European, so that was very disappointing.

Edit- I just checked PlayAsia. The Asian version does support all languages but it looks like it's going to be a keycard. I hate the modern gaming landscape.

Anyway, for anyone wondering here's the link and the page claims that the game will support Turbo and LDK modes. I don't know if that'll be true but here's hoping.

That's pretty much my problem with Switch 2. I know it is not like this for every game, but it is annoying. I like having physical versions of games. If I ever decide to get this console, it will be refurbished/used. I still use my Switch 1, and all of my games aren't graphics heavy.

DMC5 reviews and performance reports have released and there is more rumors on the potential remake of 1.

Seems like everyone is getting a physical edition except us in the Americas.
