EDIT:

Naruto Storm 3 is winning for fighting game versus Injustice and Killer Instinct ....wait those were the only 5 fighting games this year....I swore more fighting games come out this year like Dead or Alive 5 Ultimate (I'll rather have that win then Storm 3).

I guess it comes down more to "sequel/prequel" being another installment of an existing series :tongue:

Sorta surprised Link Between Worlds didn't win. Although when it comes down to it, I can see people being uppity that it doesn't seem rather "new" at all.

I think so as well. Tomb Raider is a reboot, not a prequel to the originals. In the original one like Tomb Raider Chronicles, there's a segment where you play as teenage Lara and go to this island with all this, where she meets all these little monster things, a talking hanging corpse, and a demon. Then there's the stuff from Last Revelations at the beginning with Von Croy. Lara is only 16 or so then, and it wouldn't add up to her 'survivor is born' thing from Tomb Raider 2013, especially when nothing super natural isn't known to exist to Lara until towards the ending and intends to seek out the mysteries in the world.

Suddenly, wanna go replay the old games now @.@
