DmC: Diametric Weaponry Interview

Alittleacorn

Smile it confuses people
Has exactly what it says on the title, talks about the weapons and combat!

I want that board thing of Dante standing up at the background in my room lol.

I will never understand why they never talk with the combat designer. They always interview either Alex or Tameem, and even though Tameem is the creative director he's more like the writer really, he doesn't seem to understand a lot about the game's mechanics. Itsuno comes in once a month and he gave a much better and deeper answer to "Why no lock-on" than Tameem.

Not hating on them, but why always bring the writer if they can't answer anything about the story? Seriously, Gregaman from Capcom Unity did a far better job to promote the gameplay than both Tameem and Alex, and I really like Tameem, before people think I'm just a hater.

saw this a while back, any how at one point we see dante impale a demon through a wall. i wonder if we can actually do that or if this is just for show

We don't really care what you think of Tameem......but we do agree with you.....why not have Itsuno or the combat designer for they are better resources for information on the combat than Alex & Tameem.

People on the capcom unity forum for the most part respect Gregaman and will take his word into more account than alex and tameem. I think capcom japan wants to try and stay out of the cross fire because so far 99% of the interviews has been with ninja theory and capcom America.

1:00 Love the final stab of Trillion stab with the SAVAGE yell in the background! So cool!:D

Also it seems most interviews just focus on the same old same old in my ears except for certain ones. It's gotten to the point that I'm starting to get sick of hearing Alex Jones's voice everytime something DmC related comes up.:/

I'm almost completely sure Itsuno has been interviewed about DmC multiple times this year.
That doesn't seem to change anything ever.

I was referring for this interview but I do think Itsuno before wasn't allowed to reveal much at the time but since they revealed more now I think Itsuno can come out and talk about the gameplay and weapon mechanics more clearly since out of all of NT & Capcom he understands DMC better than anyone and what the fans expect and what he expects from DmC as another installment in his franchise.
