DmC Devil May Cry Unboxing

^ Zero is ridiculous. The first 10 seconds is a complete disgrace to the old games, so his opinion should be valued as such.

I'm really dissappointed that DmC doesn't have a game booklet :/ idk, but to me, those booklets are, like, very important, it just adds to it as far as collector's value goes, and I just LOVE looking at these things! Especially when there are those little descriptions on characters and enemies in there.

"The game is so amazing that it doesn't even need a booklet" ~ Uploader of the video.

I never look at booklets for any new games. I still have a PS1 WCW: Nitro booklet, a Driver 1 booklet, and I believe I also have a Battle Tanx booklet. I found it really cool to look through those due to nostalgia and it's also interesting how much booklets have changed over the years.
From lots of info (in some cases, they even had tricks and tips), to literally no booklet. For example, Crash Bandicoot 3 had a cheat code to play a Spyro demo. You just put the code at the main menu, and *poof*, you'd be in spyro land. WCW: Nitro also had a section with a good number of character moves.
Those booklets were cool. Maybe the reason I don't care for booklets anymore is due to this lack of information. There's no reason to check booklets anymore. Anything they say will just be learned in the first 20 minutes of the game.

Whaaaaaaaaaaaat that code for the Spyro demo was in the booklet?! I never even noticed that!
Yeah, the good old booklets, they were just so amazing <3
But I'd actually like to have, like, at least something where I can quickly look up the basic moves and stuff, because, like, sure, you learn those at the beginning of the game, but when you get back into playing a game after a while, it'd be useful to have something that tells you how to play.
Some of the most awesome booklets for "newer" games gotta be the ones for No More Heroes 1+2, like, they had some kinda comic in them where stuff about the story and gameplay was explained (or something like that :P). I really miss that kinda stuff :/

I am off to get my own game now the game store I called just said they have it and I can pick mines up...*Dances and runs out*
