DmC Demo Feedback

Hey guys since someone suggested it I am making an official feedback thread. Here I'd like to post all feedback on the demo. However if all you have to say is "OMG THE DEMO IS AWESOME" please post in chocolateghosts thread. I while I completely agree the demo is awesome personally I'd like this thread to have constructive feedback. I'll start

(following was from the ps3 demo)

1. Please improve the camera for a game where there is no hard lock on the camera needs to be top notch and I feel while your trying personally it isn't quite there.

2.The Ps3 version has quite a few issues mostly involving the frame rate in one capacity or another please address those.

3. This is a bit iffy but make the enemies do more damage. Not just smarter since they can block attacks in SoS but harder like they hit you once and there's a quarter of your health gone.

That's my feedback to improve the game, lets hear yours?

Have you tried using R3? It snaps the camera back into place and is really useful.
thats not my issue my issue is is there is an enemy behind me i can't just pull him i have to manually turn teh camera around. Face him. Then do it. I'd like the game to be able to acknowledge there is an enemy behind me and to auto turn itself when i go for him behind me.

Uhh...that's why I'm telling you to use R3. If you face backwards and press R3, the camera will rotate to where Dante is facing. It's much faster than manually having to turn the camera.

I haven't had any problems like that :s I've been able to blindly throw out my hook and grapple enemies I knew were behind me, but I couldn't see because I didn't orient my camera.

Speaking of the camera, I will say that I think it's really cool that they found ways to make the camera move during certain attacks, like doing Overdrive wobbles the camera with every swing. It's just...kinda cool.

ah didn't realize the significance but thanks for that advice ill try it.

I don't know how exactly I do it but i think if i use my demon grapple one to many times ina row my angel grappel will just stop working and the only way to fix it is to fire my guns once then it works again. That is something that i find annoying

also you should be able to recover from falling
This one's botheredme quite a few times.

I also have issues with the imidiecy of the weapons swich, as in they aren't always imidiate. Might just be a demo thing but this game doesn't have enough move cancels and too often I'll hold down the angel or demon triggers mid combo and the game will not switch untill the combo is done, even if it is two more botton pushes from finished.

After trying it out I know now more than ever that a hard lock-on would go along way here.

No jump after angel dash is unacceptable.

Enemies dont deal nearly enough damage.
Ps3 framerate :.(

Everything else is good.

Ps: It would be nice to be able to recover from falling

My only real gripe is the Colored Enemys (Hell Knights etc.), I understand that you need to pick em out and stuff, but Arbiter for example has not nearly enough moves (only in the Demo I hope) to kill them efficiently...

DP -> Trinity Smash -> Flush (А/G) -> Tremor (А/G) -> DP

See, son, what you did there is called buffering.

Do u mean like the full combo finishes or just that specific hit of the combo? Like if you do the Osiris pause combo with the nun-chuck lookin move u have to wait till that one animation finishes before u can switch weapons. And you can jump after and an angel dash if u let go of the trigger to go back to human stance as long as u didnt double jump before u dashed.

I found no tech probs on ps3 BUT my feedback would be to make the angel dodge harder to do cuz on my first playthrough I found that it can be used easily to beat poison without taking damage. Other that that it is all good!

I suggest the window to perform Angel uppercut to be a bit bigger. then only gradually becomes smaller the higher dante uppercut the enemy.
