DmC Costume question...

I've played through the game multiple times, but when I play using the "Original" skin, Dante's hair never turns white. It just stays black, even at the end when it's supposed to be all white! I had hoped that the Original skin would just turn other skins off so that the cutscenes would play the way they were supposed to be seen. It doesn't make sense that the only time that happens is the first playthrough...

Has anyone else experienced this? It's a small, but annoying problem.

Great, so it's like Uncharted 1? & 2 where once you beat the game, Nathan/Dante won't be affected by the story and change his appearance.

It just gets really distracting and takes me out of the story. It's expected if you are playing with the White haired costume, but I want the option of no skins, damnit!

Or like DMC3 Rebellion where the handguard never closes up again... seriously, I loved that look. :(
Me too.

Goddess Sword to True Master Sword. Although this is from Skyward Sword, it happened in Wind Waker as well. Notice how before the "M" or guard opens up, the Master Sword looks like the unawakened Rebellion. When the "M" opens up, the True Master Sword looks similar to awakened Rebellion. For me, Dante's Rebellion is like Link's Master Sword. I don't know why.

I knew I've seen that somewhere before. And everyone says DMC3 is brimming with originality. Yeah, ok... :/
Devil May Cry 3: Dante's Awakening came out (for the PS2) during the first quarter of 2005 for all regions. The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker came out (for the GameCube) in the fourth/last quarter of 2002, the first quarter of 2003 for North America and the second quarter for Europe and Australia - talk about late release and getting screwed over. It's getting a remake for the Wii U by the way, it'll be out around quarter three of 2013; fall of this year.

So whether or not it's a coincidence or "inspired" by, we have no idea. Only Capcom knows of its dark, terrible, twisted, warped, and sometimes quirky secrets.
