DmC Bug - Blackscreen and Error Message

Hey Guys,

i sometimes have the problem that the screen suddenly turns black midgame and i get an error message (I play on the PC btw) saying "DmC Devil May Cry does not function anymore" and it automatically closes the game.
It's a pretty rare occurance but it just ****ed up my Bloody Palace run.
I beat Mundus and was about to fight Vergil with a full life bar, so reaaaally good chances to do it...and then, bam, DmC Error, byebye, try again :/ I'm really ****ed right now >_<
Does anyone have this problem aswell?
Maybe a Windows 8 problem?
Does someone have a solution? I don't want this to happen a second time.. :/
 
I think you may have to reinstall the game again. Errors like that can something be fixed simply by reinstalling it, so I recommend that you save your save files on a USB stick before doing this.

Okay thanks I'll try that tomorrow. Hopefully it fixes it.

Could you tell me where to exactly find the files i need to save? Should i just save the whole file folder?
