To answer the question though the reason people want to know if Japanese gamers play western games is the same reason Japanese want to know if western audiesces play Japanese games.

Because so many Japanese game companies lost against western companies last year (Ya can't win against darn skyrim lol), I think many Japanese gamers seems willing to play western games or western styled games recently...I bought a lot this year.
But it seems most players don't have the nerve to buy some games because most of us can't speak English.
Even our "elite" born prime ministers are stupid enough to suddenly bawl out "trust me" to Obama...XD
Ahh...yes, the main problem is the biggest DmC forum in Japan is dictated by some troll that is patrolling 24hours the threads. I don't get a hint of what the hell he is talking about. But any kind of conversation is impossible.
But the DMC community on nicovideo (our largest video site) approves DmC a LOT. It seems everyone is buying bullet train tickets to TGS.

I believed they were ****ed not because of the hair but because of the entire sum of changes thrown at them. For example, the fact that he was gruff and as flashy as he used to be or the fact that his origins were now completely different.
