I've been wondering this for a long time and I figure I'd ask now; When Dante in the Public Enemy trailer was going through the ferris wheel to get that coat, was it even his? Did he just see that coat and went, "OH, hey! A coat!" *Jumps in it and wears it* "Sweet. I'm sure no one's gonna miss it.":shifty:

Here's what I mean.

It seems like he just randomly saw it and accidently fell into it. I hope he did steal it, to add a little more rebel to that sexual deviance. :P
 
Maybe it just ended up there as he and the chicks he took home slowly undressed on their way to the trailer. It explains why the jacket is where it is and why his guns are hanging in a bra.
 
in one of the preview articles, the writer is describing the opening scene even further and it addresses this. when dante's trailer is flipped and dragged away by the demon it slings clothes and objects all over the fair grounds, one of this items happens to be dante's jacket. dante sees his jacket at the top of the ferris wheel and says, "is that my coat?" then he proceeds to get it. this also describes why ebony and ivory are tangled up in a bra i believe.

and Tameem also said Dante is in "symbolic nudity", which means everything starts from the beginning.

hey everyone, just joined because I've been getting pretty excited for DmC to come out and wanted to make an account in case I wanted to ask some questions or to just join in any kind of excitement you guys may have. just wondering first off, where might I find this article? can't really locate it online and I really wanna know more about how the game starts off :D

Funny thing about the German trailer is that they don't even translate "I picked a bad day for a hangover."
As if that's not an issue to German people XD
Also, Dante's closing line was "Hey Bob. How do ya like this?"
Which I think is cooler.

Sort of off-topic though, so don't mind me~
