Keeping it simple this time, no overly long paragraphs only to ask a single question.
What are your thoughts on the re-imagining of the Devil Trigger in DmC: Devil May Cry?

i like it its pretty cool but i think he should have got hardened skin or something with it since it isnt a demon form

I don't really find it appealing. I would much rather see him transform into an actual devil or devil/angel hybrid, not 'himself plus a few lines on his face, white hair, red eyes and red clothing'. It could've been more dramatic and could have had more 'punch' or awesomeness. He's a nephilim, so make him more like a nephilim. Black angel wings, white devil wings, whatever. Hmmm... white devil wings. I don't think that's been done before, at least not in a Devil May Cry game. Something exciting and radical.

However, I like the fact that he gets white hair, to signify that he's transformed into who he was always meant to be (since he always had a white patch in his hair). Oh, and I like that it sort of slows time like the Quicksilver style.

So much for leaving the forums eh lol i agree though i perfer his dt to be similar to what they did in dmc3 and 4 nothing overly huge but some sort of transformation however the quicksilver effect was a nice touch i agree makes it more fun

Turns out school's letting up at the moment. Yay for me :P Though it's going to get worse in a few weeks.
Yeah, I would love it to be like the Devil Trigger in DMC1, or a mix between DMC1 and DMC3. It was a bit less demonic in DMC4, though: more bug-like (insectoid), and no flying, sadly.

So a Quicksilver effect, a flying demonic form like in DMC1/DMC3, or maybe similar to the Majin form from DMC2 - PLUS angelic features.
I think the Majin Form would best be left as his ultimate DT, though. Let's say he gets the Majin form later, in DmC2 or DmC3.

Sounds good to me just something creative and flashy gothic and creeper yet majestic and powerful he is the son of sparda his devil trigger should be something to envy

after looking at in game concept art pics the concept of him with white spikyish hair dark brown/black skin red cracks and veins red eyes fangs and an animalistic beast type face wouldve been cooler if they kept that design

I found it a bit mixed. From a story perspective, I know it's like that, but honestly, it just seems like Alice's Hysteria mode from Alice madness returns.

The background becomes black n' white and Dante's coat becomes red and his hair white. Though I wished that if they were going for that, they would've stepped it up a bit more.
