What if nero was scaled more realistically in power?
As in he didn't go from on par with end game dmc3 dante in 4 (stated by devs), to beyond dante and vergil from 5 before their powerups, in a month.

what if DMC2 Dante was the future of DmC?
it sounds random but i thought it was a good pairing. In the case Dante just grew up to be more of a somber character. Its similar to Cyborg from DC- he is either portrayed as fun loving to hide his angst or he just leans into it.
in contrast this take on Vergil would be more extroverted which fits how he was in DmC.
