Angelo Credo
Kept you waiting, huh?
This is set approximately 10 years after the events of Fortuna, I won't go in to great detail, as it will just spoil it, I'll post the first chapter now and depending on if I get enough positive feedback, I'll continue to post the story, if I don't get enough, I shall just request the thread be locked.
Characters:
I suppose I should introduce one or two characters, these are subject to change, as the story is only currently is design phase, and I'm still not entirely sure about which characters I'll keep, and which I'll axe, so here it goes I guess.
Dante: (Not yet confirmed)
One of the sons of Sparda, the legendary Devil Hunter Dante is renowned for his cocky attitude and witty insults, he fears nothing and has a level of bravery none have seen before, he wields his trademark blade, Rebellion and of course, his twin handguns, Ebony and Ivory, little has been seen of Dante since the events of Fortuna, yet all we know is that the world needs a hero like him once more.
Vergil:
The other son of Sparda, this cool, calm and collected character is ruthless to the end, refusing to use any sort of Fire Arm, he compensates with the use of Summoned Swords, a currently latent ability which he will regain soon, he fought his way out of the demon world tooth and nail, and comes out of the ordeal weapon less and disoriented, all he knows is that he has a job to do, yet what this job may be, is still a mystery even to him.
Nero:
A mysterious young man, not much is known about his past, and don't expect him to disclose anything about it either, he defeated Sanctus and took down The Saviour during the events of Fortuna a good 10 years back, since then he took command of the Order of the Sword and returned it to it's former glory, his skill with the sword has grown ever stronger, charged to care for the Yamato in Dante's absence, perhaps soon...It's true owner will return for it.
Draxus:
The blacksmith of the Order of the Sword, a hardworking and kindly old man, he treats Nero like his own son and is always bailing him out of trouble.
Gabriel: (Name credited to Chaos Master.)
A fiery young man with a mouth as smart as Dante's, and recently a friend of Nero's, they met not long after the events of Fortuna, his skill with the sword is unmatched in Fortuna, with the exception of Nero, he possesses no demonic powers, yet compensates with a significant deal of self earned strength, able to cleave through the hardest steel as if it was butter.

Prologue:
The world cried for a hero, as the demon army advanced onward, leaving nothing but destruction in their wake, every man, woman and child prayed for a hero…You see, after the events at Fortuna, Dante entrusted his brother’s sword, The Yamato, to a young warrior known as Nero, since then, none have seen the hail of bullets or the glint of Dante’s sword.
And Nero…Well, 10 years on, he remains a skilled warrior, fighting the unending hordes in adamant defence of his beliefs, his city, and those he loved, but it is not enough, Nero has been unable to hold them back on his own, many raids have been attempted upon demonic encampments, very few have yielded any success of note, and the storm of demons are dwindling the supplies of the Order of the Sword.
Nero took command of the Order, leading them in the defence of the continent, yet many casualties have been suffered, many lives lost in the unending struggle against this new force.
Portals have been located and sealed off, making life a little easier for the Order, yet it seems when one demon dies, two more appear to take their fallen comrade’s place, things seem bleak for the world, things seem hopeless for all humanity as we know it…
