Name: Kat
Analysis: Kat is a new character in the upcoming Devil May Cry, and is described as having a "sweet innocence." This should be obvious by her ample cleavage, hand and face tattoos, and penchant for graffiti. Unless she's actively trying to look like a street urchin or convenience store robber, it's time for a new ensemble.
Fashion Rating: Kat needs to learn the difference between "good attention" and "bad attention." Zipping up her hoodie would be a good start.
Name: Kyrie
Analysis: Now this is how you pull off "sweet innocence." Kyrie looks less like a Devil May Cry character and more like a participant on
Colonial House. Don't let her conservative demeanor fool you, however; Kyrie is Nero's lover, and still wants to get it on with him even after she sees his freaky demon arm. I'm guessing she has a wild streak, but her clothes are 100-percent classy.
Fashion Rating: I'm still in shock that Capcom designed such a normal-looking character.
Name: Lady
Analysis: Oh, okay. It all makes sense now; Kyrie must have been the first character Capcom created after Lady, who clearly used up all of the developer's nonsensical design ideas. Lady's attire even manages to overshadow the humungous, bayonet-equipped rocket launcher she's got. I guess this is what passes for business casual in the demon-hunting industry.
Fashion Rating: Put some clothes on, Lady!
Name: Trish
Analysis: Trish might not don the classiest of outfits, but at least she's coordinated. I still fail to understand how anyone in this series can hunt demons in these getups, though. Shouldn't they be wearing armor or something? How is she going to fight demonic monsters when she catches a cold? I'm sure the high-heel boots are really effective on the battlefield, too. Trish's style may work in an S&M club or biker bar, but unless you can kill a demon with cleavage, it's time to change things up.
Fashion Rating: Trish's wardrobe could use some color – not to mention cloth. Compared to Lady, however, Trish still looks like a nun.
Name: Lucia
Analysis: Lucia is actually a demon, so maybe her midriff is protected by some magical demon spell. Aside from the lack of protection – which every demon hunter in Devil May Cry character is equally guilty of – Lucia is in good shape. I'm still not sold on her shawl, however. She's going to look a lot less elegant when a gust of wind blows that thing over her head.
Fashion Rating: Capes are for superheroes. If Lucia stitches hers into a full-length shirt, she'll be set.
