I say the story must begin with what happen to Virgil aftar the end of DMC3 and how fell in love as a first part of the game.
Then the second part begins with Dante when he know that's mundus is being reborn and will be stronger than anytime before and he needs his father Sparda and to reborn his father he needs blood from each one of his son as a sacrifice so he starts the second part finding Virgil and when he found him he know that's Nero was the son of Irgil of a human woman.
The third part starts when Vrigil & Dante together side by side to go to their father Sparda's grave and fighting the demons together but when they find the grave and sacrifice their bloods it just doesn't succes and hey don't know why. (and in this part you can play in two players).
The forth part begins by showing us Nero with Lady and Trish attack demons and trying to stop the reborn of mundus in mission by Vrgil and Dante but the demons is too hard in the last when Lady is almost be killd and Trish and Nero can't help her a strange devil hunter with a black clothes kill the demons easily and save Lady but when get attacked from behind and get cut and he bleeds a lot of blood but he act like nothing heppen and quickly they found out that he is not human he is a demon son, Mundus get reborn and he is too strong he attacks Nero, Lady and Trish but the stranger demon save thim when he turn to devil form and becom just like Sparda in look with black colour and orange and the fire flames is going out of him and with a sord is just like Dante sword in the DMC1 and after this save the know that he is the third and the older son of Sparda with the hair of his mother eva.
The fifth part is about Nero is going with Jacob (the older brother of Dante)to Sparda's grave and reach Dante and Virgil when they reach it Mundus arrivis and try to kill thim all and kill Virgil and hit Dante a very strong attack but Jacon succes with putting his blood in the grave then he got killed by Mundus and go out for gottin the human world with not knowing that's Jacob put a drop from his blood and this part ends like this.
The sixth and final part of the final chapter starts by reborn the dark knight Sparda with human form and he found his sons Virgil and Jacob is dead and Dante is dieing he hold and with some crying Dante smiles that he saw his father and then he dies he saw Trish crying and she looks just like Eva, his get angery and with his whole power get thim reborn all and he starts with his sons and his grandson Nero to kill Mundus when they reach him Sparda fight Mudus 1on1 but Mundus with his power just get Arkhum and the savior reboen withe the bosses of the game so it's the time of Dante,Virgil,Jacob and Nero to fiht thos and after the kill them all the fight of Sparda starts with Mundus and when Mundus is almost dead Sparda retuen to the human form and pull his guns off wich just like Ebomy&Ivory and but the just like Dante shoed us in the past games and he said to good bye Mundus and he kill him (and we don't to forget the Sense of Humor in the game ).
