Development Teams

[The 4th Snake]

I'm looking to clear up what dev teams made each game. I recall reading once that on 2 and 3 share a dev team, but with so many people involved in 3 and 4, I find that had to believe any more. Can anyone help?

I don't have time to do in-depth research, but wikipedia says Capcom Production Studio 4 did 1 and 4, with Kamiya as director of 1 (never ask him about any other), and Kobayashi being a programmer for 1 and producer for 4 (he was also involved with anime).
2 was made by Capcom Production Studio 1 and Hideaki Itsuno. He was also director for 3 and 4, but I can't find info which CPS was involved with 3.
Overall, I don't think it really matters as people tend to come and go and come again in this series production.
