I personally plan on getting it from Gamestop, due to the fact that it also has that Vergil DLC tethered on to it.

Technically to get the Vergil DLC you have to be signed up to the Power-Up Rewards program as well. If you're not a Power-Up member you don't get the Vergil DLC for free.

Oh I am already, I've got the one that you pay for...lol. But I still desire that nifty japan special edition, but I don't think its a MUST by no matter how hard I seem to crave it.

I was going to buy the Japanese Special Edition but I just do not have the dough to spend on it right now.
It is a MUST have for me but I suppose I will just have to buy it off of Amazon at a later date.

Personally only the necklace seems to be worth anything, as cool as the special edition actually looks. The soundtrack is something that can be easily torn off of youtube (via youtube mp3) and popped on to a cd. The art book, for me its mixed opinions. I think its dope ****, but I don't think I'll be spending all of that money just on the special edition. I'd be a smarter move just to by the necklace off of ebay at a later date and save a crap load of money.

But lol what am I saying? A special edition is in fact what makes it special after all, so acquiring the items separately wouldn't equal as much of the appeal that one would get if they were to by the SD.

Exactly.
The main reason I want it is for the artbook. I am a complete sucker for artbooks.

You gave me a huge scare there... for a second there I thought I was going to miss out on the Vergil DLC.
Power-Up Rewards only applies to the US. Canada doesn't have those kinds of strings attached... for now.

I pre-ordered it from the EU PlayStation Network Store. All I know that I'm getting Vergil's Downfall free.
I'm not sure about the skins.
