Christians will soon have even less freedom than other people...but that's another debate which we shan't go into ^_^

Just to clarify - I am a Christian who believes that Jesus is the Son of God who came to earth, died for our sins and rose again. Belief in God does not equate to being a Christian as Satan believes in God and he is most definitely not on the same team

I've been a Christian for nearly 20 years now and have gone away from it occasionally during that time, but I've seen and experienced too much to consider it a load of crap.

I swear every sunday I'm like "I'm so tired...do I have to go?" and then I do drag myself out of bed, walk the 300 metres or so to church, get there and think "I'm really glad I came here this morning!"

It can depend on what kind of church you go to as well - I go to an evangelical/charismatic church. Sadly, most people's conception of church is nothing but a place to sleep and lots of old boring people talking in monotones about what you can and can't do. No wonder so many people don't bother going

I feel kind of weird saying this, since whenever I do I always get jumped on and screamed at, but I'm not a Christian...
I recognize the usefulness of having an external loving father figure to watch over you, whether he were real or not, but for me there's not truth in it, so I don't go in for it, although I know there is truth in it to be found for other people...
I have no problem with anyone holding any faith they wish, but I have found them to often have a problem with me, as though I was going out of my way to attack them somehow by not feeling as they do...
Religion can be a source of strength for some people, but so too can religious intolerance, which has caused countless problems in the world, and it seems of late that people have come to being overly politically correct with just about every religious group on the planet, but "athiests", wiccans and satanists are open season for attacks and insults...
I had my life threatened when I was 16 for not "admitting" that jesus was the son of god, and when I reported it to the place I was staying at, I was thrown out... if the same had been done to a member of a recognized religious group, it would be classified a hate crime... since I was not, it was seen as my own fault for not "accepting jesus christ as my personal saviour"... at the very least, I should have freedom of speech to say that I do or do not believe in god, but freedom of speech apparently does not supersede their first commandment... needless to say it has left me uncomfortable around particularly fanatical christians... as though rights are only to be applied to the "faithful"...

don't be embaresed to say that you are a christian, that jesus is your personal savior, that you walk with the father, son, and the holy spirit because there isd no need to be scared God will protect all that need him so don't be scared because the devil is just trying to bring you down, just remeber that every time yyou go to church you make him mad at you because you serve an awsome god, halleluya!:)

praise the lord!

ummm... to be honest I'm a bit confused... I don't know why you quoted me and then said that... I'm not embarassed to admit anything... I'm NOT a christian... and considering what I just shared about people saying that exact same thing to me while holding a knife to my throat, that is extremely offensive if you were in fact talking to me... if you were just stating your faith then I'm sorry... but the fact that you quoted me and then said that makes it sound like you are directing those statements to me...

Never believed in god and never will, i control my life, i make my decisions and my life is mine to live how i want to live it. There is no 'higher power' or force watching me and i sure dont have no 'Saviour' i do want i want when i want and the only consequences i shall receive from anything would be for my own actions. No heaven or hell for me just death and a grave.

I cannot agree with you more

LOL Nice rhyme there P'tarch!

But to be honest, you cannot say there actually isn't a God. For instance, if I said, "There is a gigantic gerbal in the sky which controls you and made everything on Earth, although you cannot see him", you cannot say "there isn't such a bulls*** person" because I can turn to you and say "Okay then, prove that he doesn't exist. Where is your evidence?", just like I can turn to someone who does believe in a gerbal God and say "prove that he exists".

Thanks, I like writing those sort of rhymes.

You are 100% right. But there may be a gerbil yet!
