David Goyer is a freaking hack who doesn't deserve even half of the praise he gets. One of the most overrated screenwriters in the biz at the moment. A 5 year old could write better than him.

i love this movie. mainly because this movie is loosely based from my favorite superman graphic novel of all time, superman earth one. however, earth one isn't really liked that much by conservative superman fans. so i understand the hate it gets. but i think that goyer did a great job gets way too much hate.

I liked the ending. It's kind of like, "If these villains just keep escaping prison/the phantom zone, then why not just solve everything permanently?"

Man of Steel was enjoyable. What I didn't like going Dark n' Grim was The Amazing Spider-Man. I enjoyed that movie as well, but the flaws weren't nearly as easy to ignore.
