Oh sorry. i misunderstood because you made that topic in DmC forum - you should made it in general gaming discussion.
Yeah i know only former members of Vigil in Crytek and Platinum were only bidding on Darksider franchise. Right now we only know it was sold. I hope we will know soon who got it.

Use the shuriken to keep staying in air.

Throw shuriken and do a scythe attack once, and repeat.

Ull stay up in air that way. Since you seem like a big fan i wanted to share that with you.

Crytek USA intends to bid for the Darksiders IP when the remainder of THQ’s assets are sold off before mid-May. Headed up by former Vigil co-owner David Adams, the new Austin-based studio employs many of the core members of the Darksiders development team laid off in January when the firm failed to attract any bids during parent company THQ's initial bankruptcy auction.
Shortly after Crytek offered a new home to the ex-Vigil employees, the German firm’s CEO Cevat Yerli told GamesBeat his company wasn’t interested in working on the Darksiders series as it “doesn't fit with our strategy".
But Crytek USA boss Adams has now said on Twitter: "Going to bid on Darksiders IP. Put 7 years of heart and soul into that franchise, and I think it belongs at home with its creators." And fellow Vigil co-founder Ryan Stefanelli confirmed to Destructoid: "When the Darksiders IP goes up for auction, Crytek will be bidding for it. Not much more to say since the rest is left up to courts and legal shenanigans, but we're all excited at the prospect." We’ve approached Crytek’s European HQ for further comment.

Why must I choose? I thought Darksiders 2 showed promise, but they need to get rid of the padding and trying to be everything. They should just focus on combat and make it really deep and interesting for any sequels. I absolutely loved the art style and music, especially during some of the boss fights. Those scripted animation sequences were spectacular. Too bad I had to deliberately fight bad in order to prolong most fights (Ice Scythes + Life steal + Execution Chance tend to make the game easy).

I agree the rpg elements were way to deep for me personally. i liked the customization but the fact that i had to trade really cool looking armor or weapons because theyre stats werent as good as the later ones which i didnt think looked as goodreally bummed me.

I liked the RPG elements (although looting could be tedious, keeping up with all your weapons and armor and throwing away what you don't need and what to sacrifice to other weapons to power them up, etc.) but it did have the problem of that you could basically plow through everything if you get high enough armor and weapons, basically making skill somewhat useless.

While I agree with also focusing the game down to maybe a couple of specific genres and I want a more expanded combat, I kinda don't want it to fall too directly into the HnS genre. Running around with Death's ninja agility was awesome fun to me, and I love the exploration of these gigantic levels and figuring out the puzzles too.

On a personal note, I wanted to see Strife get his own game so we could see why his guns wound up spread across the universe, and I could see an awesome HnS/Shooter/Adventure game made for him. It could finally put that behind-the-back 3rd person camera option to use targeting enemy weakness for instance.

i like the sound of that. strife seems like a cool character. i wonder what his horse would look like or what his overpower form would look like. death is my favorite though. his traversal and combat was so fun and he was voiced so perfectly.

Death is so awesome it's really funny when your say level 18 and you find a possesed weopon and then you fully upgrade it so then your using a level 23 weopon and kill everything so easly.

Death would win since he has more combat expierence.

I'm wondering if the next game is gonna be a solo game with either Strife or Fury or a game where you could play as both (alternate characters).
