In a way, Dante is very much like war. He is stubborn and refuses to give up, always where you don't want him P), so in a way, yes he is like war. He has anger issues and is prone to acting rather stupidly. Still doesn't change my love for him either,

Vergil is very much like Death. Cold and silent, calculating is next move with extreme caution, always quick to follow where war is.

Well, Mundus does say to them that while he gave humans order and structure, Dante and Vergil brought war, violence and death.

They saved the city, but at cost of the city being wrecked by Mundus due to Vergil's deliberate killing of his child, which caused Mundus to go nuts. He trampled the city and killed a load of people in the process as payback for his child.
