Are Dante and Vergil still brothers in this series?

And if the game goes successful will there be more warriors that wield demonic & angelic powers?
Ex. a monk for example

They are brothers still in DMC. As for DmC, it hasn't been officially stated that Vergil is even in the game. But a lot of signs seem to point to, YES.
As for monk wielding demonic weapons. Who know!

There is a high probability that vergil is in the game .
some one asked tameem about the sex scene and he said that it had been tastefully done . So by saying that there is a sex scene ( even though none of the trailers showed it ) he is indirectly saying that the 4chan guy is true and according to him vergil is included.

Maybe Vergil will get killed like in the original series. He is in a sort of position that tends to get a dramatic death scene .(if that masked order-leader is him).
And if the series does continue possibly Dante will mature and take up as leader of the order and Nero will be his promising disciple.

Vergil's death was the reason for all the plot holes in Dmc and one of the maun reasons for a reboot ,so I highly doubt they will do that in DmC

i never thought of vergil's death as a plot hole, its more of an unanswered question.

the cast assumed he was dead because there is no reason to assume mundus would let him live after he lost to Dante.

Mundus aint the merciful type and has no reason to let vergil live because his whole usage of vergil was to distract and mess with Dante's head. It doesnt work so vergil goes kaput.

The only way vergil is still alive is if a concerned third party got involved and faked his death.

that doesnt mean he cant be ressurected.

i do hope that they dont repeat kobayashi's boneheaded move to jump 20 years in the future and show us Dante as a 40 year old bore or a 40 year old trying to be a teenager.

just keep him young for the forseeable future.

as for me vergil is 1000000000% in the game cuz it wouldnt be DmC at all and as for the monk sure why not..... i'd like too see jet lee as a monk with demonic powers.....wouldnt that be a site

For the monk, it should be a blind monk who has the power of a half human/half oni. There can also be a strong man wielding a hammer or something someday.

Vergil should dress elegant along with wielding the rapier & katana (yamato). Of course a British accent would suit him.

It was more of a confirmation that Vergil was in the game and we'll probably have to wait until the game release.

Well.. thats what i would do. And make all the Vergil Fangirls grovel at my feet.
