Dante Superman Edition

Do a Man of Steel costume mod. I'm not the biggest Superman fan but that movie's got me hyped. I'm digging his suit in that.
Beyond my skill level; not a texture artist, but you should request it on DMCmods and I bet someone will do it.

Although, you're right it would look hilarious and awesome to do what i do in the vid with a superman costume.

Mundus can be Zod and someone can incorporate a audio clip in a cutscene of him going "Kneel before Zod!" He's a demon king after all.

Someone should do a mod where it changes Dante's coat in to a bath robe. With one of those polka dotted shower caps.

Me messing around, trying to showcase why Dante is just as fast at reaching his enemies as DMC4. Aquilas can be ground cancelled infinitely as long there is a target to fly towards and has incredible distance.

Pretty cool, I take that this is a reply to a previous thread conversation about DMC4's trickster's mobility compared to DmC. I was wondering whether a DmC styled SkyRave was possible, this looks kinda close.

Yeah, exactly. :). Wish there were more enemies like tank drone, doing the thing in video was lots of fun, calibur works like a homing missile, so you can fly away and then come back towards the target.

awesome video, love the sky star usage. That **** isn't easy, so huge props. The speed just doesn't compare though, which isn't saying anything about your skill (you're obviously very good) but you really just can't beat instant teleportation in a raw speed comparison.

DmC intentionally slows itself down for the purpose of feeling cinematic, and can safely run at 30fps without any visual twerks bothering anyone. Compare that against a similar game with double the framerate and a turbo setting. You're already at a huge handicap, and then you toss in an instant teleport with a total travel time of less than 10 frames. DmC has a ****load of stuff going for it that the originals don't (for one, the combos themselves look pretty dull. jump cancel is a one-trick pony, and it's the only trick you ever see in older DMC combo videos) but speed is just not one of those things.

Dude that is good and all. DmC and DMC4 both have some pretty impressive Trickster/maneuverability but man DMC3 is still has the best Trickster hands down.

Wall running FTMFW!!!

Yeah. I like DMC3's mechanics the best. I only like the mechanics, however.

I also now officially dislike DmC. I'm done with it.

Well that was....well...whatever.

Yeah I do felt DmC and even DMC4 (somewhat) shot itself in the foot with having so much large open-world environments/stages now the enemies are scattered all over the place which makes using the environment to your advantage all the much harder. With DMC3 since a majority of areas (even the ones that seemed pretty large) were so closed in giving you enough space to work in but not too much that makes reaching an enemy that was on the other side of the map a hassle potentially ruining your combo flow.

Plus DMC3 even had better environmental interaction for integrating into your combos and not one-hit KO death traps.....but got to love DMC4's chrono triggers....would've loved to seen it more in areas where enemies are though....it would make the game a bit more easier.

hah, I remember that video. I like how he has to jump away and run up walls to generate enough distance in order to actually showcase the gap closing. Combo videos are great and all, but sometimes it's the just-screwing-around videos like this one that I really enjoy

Also, gotta love the stripper/dance pole that you can use to integrate into combos + the body surfing.

all the little things 3 made it great. The body surfing, the pole dance fighting, curb stomping downed enemies with guns, I loved this stuff and I was always sad they cut it out DMC4 onward

Should have played this song in the background.

I know this is off topic, but lol, I love how they're totally going for the Gladiator marketing vibe. Using Russel Crowe and that washed out dreamy aesthetic, sometimes it sucks to be a film buff, I notice too many little technical details that make it hard for me to appreciate things without cynicism.

Still beautiful score, hans zimmer does some amazing work.
