If Dante were to hypothetically seal his power would devil sword Dante return to being the rebellion like the sparda and force edge? They clearly are drawing comparison to it calling it the "new legendary devil sword" saying it's distinctly either taken the title from sparda or is another of the same breed

Dante is not going to learn alchemy and create swords like Rebellion and Yamato. If he seals his powers into his sword it will stay as the Devil Sword Dante.
Sometime in the future his child can show up and equip it and use the Dante DT

WTF Dante will never have a child It was already said Dante does not want a descendant in the novels.
Even Itsuno and Bingo have already said they won't write for Dante that's why Nero is Vergil's child.

Absolutely horrible writing isnt it?
The way Nero shows up from nowhere and Neros mom never being mentioned at all.
They can have some other goober show up and what'ya know Dante was the dad.
Or how about this, Dante has no descendants. Neither does Nero. No more super half demon Sparda bois Mundus comes back and genocides the planet.
Goku and Naruto ended up being dads at least that had somewhat development.

Nero will have children for sure with Kyrie. But Dante honestly ? he is like a Goku. And in BTN , Lucia is in love with Dante but he doesn't care.

In the version of Kamiya Dante would have a child but in the version of Bingo, Itsuno nope.

I already said but as long as Bingo will remain on DMC Dante will never have an evolution even the evolution of Dante in DMC3 he was not alone in the story
