I can't see what is hitting me much of the time before it's too late, and all attacks do insane amounts of damage. This feels impossible.

Move around in an anti clockwise circle to avoid the meteors, and the beam he does you can do the spinning vortex through that
The second phase is trickier but round trip works well on his weak spot while u fire at him and dodge attacks, then unleash bigger attacks when you can
