Just something i have made up. Its poorly written, so you have been warned 
In an alternative universe in real world is the universe of fictional characters. Here all characters ever created exist. As a character is created on paper by a human, it appears in the fictional universe.
With reboot happening of devil may cry the news spread fast in this universe. The universe found out about this through characters who had ability to teleport from a universe to another, such as cereza from Bayonetta.
This isn't first time a character has been rebooted.
A man enters a pub at Draw city past midnight. On the counter is over a dousin bottles. While a white haired person is shouting at bartender to give him more beer.
Bartender: Finally your here. He's kept me here for many hours.
???: I'm sorry Jeff. You know hes going through a rough periode.
???: Dante, you need to stop this.
Dante: Sna-aake? is that you buddy? Where you been?
Snake: I had something to take care of.
Dante: Ahh...stealth mission.
Snake: You have been doing this for many months now. If you continued causing trouble you will be erased.
Dante: Like i care, i will be disappear eventually. Remember i was rebooted? its only a matter of time...
Snake: Maybe you will, maybe you wont. The people who was rebooted and then disappeared were not in your league. Many fans know of you, they will ensure you wont disappear.
Dante: Easy for you to say, your not in a story thats a mess. Your the great snake of Solid.
I am Dante of the mess.
Snake: Your story is what it is but people remember you not the story.
Your awesome friend. Some of the people i met from other games with great story are pretentious douches
Dante: Yeah? Like who?
Snake: Joel...from Last of Us. Big douche.
Never stops talking about how he saved that little girl.

cereza: So there you are Dante. Ive been looking for you.
Dante: cereza? Are you here for an appointment?
cereza: No silly demon. I know something that can cheer you up. Besides yesterday they passed a law. Prostituion is no longer allowed in Draw city.
Dante: They did? Those bastards. How am i gonna earn a living now. At least thats one positive thing by me disappearing...
Snake: Whats your idea criminal?
cereza: Arent we being a bit nasty?
Snake: spit it out witch...
cereza: Geez...fine. I will take you to real world Dante, you can take care of capcom
Snake: Dante dont listen to this hag, you will be erased if Draw city officals find out
*Dante knocks Snake out*
Dante: Hey bartender here is the bill, and dont tell anyone about what you saw here...
cereza teleports herself and Dante to capcoms office in real world.
Dante: Time to take care of those suckers
cereza: Well ill be gone from here, dont want me to be erased will you?
Dante: Its okey. Thanks by the way.
* Dante storms into a office meeting*
All the capcom big guys are there.
Itsuno: DAnte?! What this cant be...your a character.
capcomFodder: hes prolly a cosplayer, itsuno san.
capcom??BigGuy: How rude.
Itsuno: Well done cosplayer. You look just like Dante. But if youll excuse us we have a meeting. Maybe later we can talk, you can work for us ?
Dante: I am Dante you ****ers. You see this? This is ebony and ivory.
Dante shoots with guns
Dante: And this is rebellion.
*slashes the meeting room table in half*
capcomBigGuy laughs nervously: hahha you certainly fooled me!
Itsuno: Great show!
*rest of personell claps*
Dante: I am Dante you ****ers. How many times must i tell you...

*Dante transform into a demon*
capcomFodder: How is this possible...your not a living being!
Itsuno: ....fuuuck!!!! wer screwed
Dante: Now you get it! I am DANTE suckers! Ill enjoy this!
capcomBigGuy: Please dont kill us! IT wasnt personal it was just business!
Dante: Shut up.
Dante kidnapped the people responsible for the reboot. Took them to a location where he did something to them. When Dante was caught by Draw officals he was erased the day after.
But the people of Fictional universe never forgot what happened, and viewed Dante as a hero.
Dante had a chance to send a letter saying farewell to his good friend Snake.
Snake reads the letter:
"Yo buddy!
IF your reading this i am probably gone.
Thanks for support bro!
P.S Have you read newspapers? Any words on what i did? Awesome right? That'll teach those ****ers not to reboot you or anyone else!
